Day 3 Jan 11 HANOI - HALONG BAY (B,L,D)
Drive to Halong City (4h), where you will board the junk "Indochina Sails". Join your fellow passengers for a delightful seafood lunch as you begin to discover Halong Bay, listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty. "Dragon descending to the Sea " as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Marvel at the setting sun over dinner. Overnight accommodation onboard.
Day 4 Jan 12 HALONG BAY - HANOI - DEPARTURE (Brunch)
Enjoy a late brunch as you sail back to the dock where you will disembark anddrive back to Hanoi in time to catch your outbound flight to Saigon for the Mekong Cruise.

Day 1 Jan 9 HANOI - ARRIVAL
Pick up at airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Due to various arrival times, the day is at leisure and meals are on your own.
Day 2 Jan 10HANOI
Begin with a visit to the mausoleum of ho Chi Minh and his former residence. Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, History Museum, and Fine Arts Museum. Enjoy some free time to walk around the colorful streets of the Old Quarter followed by lunch.
In the afternoon continue with a one house cyclo tour and stop at the romantic Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple, followed by a performance of the unique Water puppet Show. Dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
Day 13 SIEM REAP - HOME (B)
Depart on a half day city tour which will include a stop at the famous Artists D'Angkor where you will see local artists at work. A great place to purchase those last minute souvenirs! The balance of the day is free until its time to transfer to the airport for your late night flights out. You will arrive in the USA on Jan 22 around 11 AM
Day 11 Disembark - SIEM REAP (B,L,D)
High Water : Early this morning. set sail across the vast Tonle Sap Lake and observe the local farmers and water buffalos . On arrival to Siem Reap, enjoy a light lunch and check-in to your hotel.
Low Water : After breakfast, you will transfer to Siem reap via speed boat, hydrofoil or air-conditioned motor coach bus (approx. 6 hrs)
Tonight enjoy a walking tour through the vibrant Pub Street and Night Market prior to dinner at a popular local restaurant.
Day 12 SIEM REAP - ANGKOR TEMPLES (B,L,D)
The day is devoted to an in-depth exploration of the fascinating "Lost City of Angkor" once the capital of the ancient Khmer empire, which ruled the area from the 9th to the 13th century. Your morning tour will explore Angkor Thom, Bayan Temple, Elephant Terrace. Lunch will be served al fresco at the popular FCC club nearby. After lunch, tour the jungle Temple and the maginificent main Temples of Angkor Wat! End the day with a farewell dinner and Apsara show at a lovely restaurant.
Day 9PHNOM PENH - KAMPONG TRALACH (B,L,D)
Enjoy your morning at leisure, where you may visit the famous Russian market. Set sail at lunchtime. On arrival at Kampong Tralach, depart on a fun ox cart ride and a walking tour of the century old Vihara. Visit a local school when in session. Return to the ship and sail on.
Day 10 KAMPONG CHNANG - CHNOK TRU FLOATING VILLAGE (B,L,D)
Your morning tour will includea pottery farm and a village where locals will demonstrate their wide variety of use for the sugar sap tree. Return to the ship for lunch and sail on to Tonle Sap Lake. Along the way set sail via local boats through the fascinating "Floating village" of Chnok Tru, a unique town completely set on water! See the people living on boats, including a stop at the local "floating" school and cathedral! The smiles of the local children are priceless. The evening is reserved for our festive Captain's Farewell Dinner.
Day 8PHNOM PENH (B,L,D)
This morning you will tour Cambodia's French colonial capital, which includes the Royal Palace and the National Museum. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to S-21 prison, the infamous place of torture and death made world famous by the movie "The Killing Fields". In the evening an enchanting Apsara Dance will be performed by children from a local orphanage. The rest of the evening is free to relax or explore the vibrant night life of the riverside promenade with a "wild" tuk-tuk ride.
Day 7CHAU DOC - Border - PHNOM PENH (B,L,D)
Morning tour via local boats to the fish raising rafts followed by a visit to the Cham community where you will be able to see (and taste) rice cake and candy making skills of the locals.Enjoy a relaxing afternoon onboard as we cross the border into Cambodia.
Day 6CAI BE - VINH LONG - SA DEC (B,L,D)
Board local Sampans for a wonderful ride through the Cai Be floating market where you can observe local farmers selling and trading their wares. In Vinh Long you will sail through narrow canals and discover houses built on stilts, hawkers in boats and hundreds of crafts as they criss/cross in all directions. In Sa Dec, visit a few remaining colonial houses including the "Chinaman's House" featured in Marguerite Duras' famous novel "The Lover" as well as the Kien An Cung Pagoda.
Day 5MY THO - VINH TRANG - THOI SON ISLAND (B,L,D)
Your sightseeing of My Tho, or "Fragrant Herb" will begin by crossing the river on local boats. This quiet and prosperous city of 100.000 is renowned for its huge rice fields, gardens and fruit orchards.
After lunch, local boat will take you to Thoi Son Island where you will view local people's daily life.

Day 4HO CHI MINH CITY -EMBARK (B,L,D)
Morning excursion to the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels. Built during the Vietnam War, the tunnels extend underground for over 212km and range in depth from 3 to 12 meters!. They feature remnants of a living city; schools, community kitchens, sleeping quarters, hospitals as well as military production facilities. Return to the city for a Vietnamese style lunch at a local restaurant prior to transferring to the pier to embark your floating hotel, the M/S Toum Tiou II. Set Sail. An information meeting and welcome cocktail will be followed by dinner.
Day 3HO CHI MINH CITY (SAIGON) (B,D)
Your morning seightseeing will include the Post Office, built by Gustav Eiffel, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Presidential Palace. In the evening, depart for a unique performance of the water Puppet show followed by a visit to the Benh Tranh Chinese open market and a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
