Claude Monet painted some of his greatest works here such as the famous Water lilies which are now on display at the Orangerie Museum in Paris. The water garden was created by the artist himself forming a magnificent Japanese-inspired group with its green bridge adorned with wisteria, a pond with water lilies and banks planted with weeping willows, bamboos, poppies and lilies. In front of the pink house, the floral garden offers a splendid palette of colours.
You will visit Claude Monet's house as well, with its superb collection of Japanese prints and its various rooms furnished in the style of the time such as the small blue living room, the workshop, the yellow dining room and the blue tiled kitchen.
